Our first product, the Mediclaudo smart medicine trolley, was designed in cooperation with the Hospital District of South Ostrobothnia. The goal was to create a safe medicine distribution chain from the hospital pharmacy to the wards, and to reduce medicine waste. In the background of the development work we had decades of cooperation and know-how in the manufacture of healthcare products and aids.
The first smart medicine trolleys were delivered to customers in 2018 and have been in continuous use since then. With the smart medicine trolleys, cost efficiency in the medicine distribution process has improved. Smart medicine carts have also been used successfully with transport robots.
